It does not matter how you spell it ,it is all the same crossbreed . A cross of a poodle and a maltese .
So ,maltepoo, maltapoo ,maltipoo ,malt-i-poo,malt-e-poo and even Moodle is used or any variation thereof
is acceptable but confusing to most people .We ask that all breeders refer to the maltipoo in one or two spellings and stop
the "I want to make a sell ' by using the different spellings .
Also ,just because a person 'names ' a certain cross maltapoo , maltepoo, maltipoo at a registry does not
mean they are the first to breed them .
Maltipoos (maltapoo,maltepoo ) have been around for at least 20 years here in my state and I am sure in
others also .Thanks .
